When should I use Chat?

Chat is used for discussion between brokers and underwriters. For example, an underwriter might ask, "What is the claim history?" or advise the broker, "I will be quoting soon".


Chat can connect individual carriers or teams working on a contract. You cannot add people to a Chat. If you are part of the team on a risk, you will automatically be involved in the Chat. Your messages will be seen by other members in your team and all members of the team in the Chat.
