How do endorsements work in Whitespace?

Whitespace provides endorsement processing that echoes the paper process.

Endorsements can be created on a signed risk, or on a firm order to assist with placing an "in-flight endorsement". Each endorsement is created with an endorsement number (assigned by the system), an effective date and a description of the changes.

The broker sets the role for each carrier - leader, agreement party or notify party. Agreements are then sought from each relevant party. Once the required agreements are received, the endorsement can be closed.
